Geo Specialty Chemicals is proud of its achievements in improving the sustainability of its operations.

Geo Specialty Chemicals has continued to build on the decarbonisation project work completed in 2024 as part of a joint project with other industrial partners in the Solent Cluster. We are now implementing projects identified as part of this study and we will continue to do so going forward.

The energy saving project improvements we have made have contributed to a lowering of CO₂ emissions.

We are delighted to be continuing our circular economy partnership. A manufacturing byproduct is shared with our circular economy partner as a feedstock for a process that improves their environmental performance and an approximate annual CO₂ saving of 192000Kg from avoided emissions. This project was facilitated by the Environment Agency and is beneficial for all.

There is a continued focus on waste. Recycling & recovery rates for our waste have increased as we utilise more sustainable pathways which diverts waste from landfill and utilises it more effectively. We are very open to other circular economy solutions.

At Geo we are committed to minimising the environmental impact of our products whilst ensuring they perform optimally and the GEO team is always looking at ways we can improve.
