GEO Announces Plans to Build Polyaluminum Chloride Facility in Texas

February 24, 2014, Ambler, Pa. – GEO Specialty Chemicals, Inc. (GEO) today announced plans for a large expansion of its Water Treatment Chemicals Division in Deer Park, TX, on the site of an existing GEO facility.  The new facility will produce polyaluminum chloride (PAC) products to serve municipalities in need of improved and cost-effective solutions in clean water practices.  “This capital investment satisfies GEO’s commitment to develop and deliver cost-effective specialty chemical products that help our customers meet increasingly stringent regulatory standards,” noted CEO and President Kenneth A. Ghazey.  He added, “We have a healthy respect for sustainability and its relationship to profitability. Companies can do well by doing good.”
