ACS is a "traditional" coagulant, in the mold of alum or iron salts. Full strength product typically contains about 28% aluminum chloride in solution, or 10.5% Al2O3. ACS provides an inexpensive source of aluminum metal for water treatment, making it an excellent candidate for cost effective removal of phosphate and color.

GEO offers two primary types of ACS.  Our Intermediate Grade is an all-purpose full strength product, suitable for most wastewater or industrial applications.  Our Technical Grade product is a premium ACS, water-white in appearance and NSF certified for use in drinking water applications.

GEO can also make available a number of lower strength Industrial Grade ACS streams on a select basis.
